About the Client:
A Korean restaurant under a hospitality group based in Dubai
Job Description:
• Measuring meal ingredients, plating, and presenting meal items as per the Chef de Partie’s instructions.
• Preparing meal ingredients, which includes seasoning of different meats as well as washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and fruits.
• Receiving deliveries and verifying that all ordered items have been delivered and are of excellent quality.
• Taking inventory of restaurant supplies and notifying the supervisor of low or depleted supplies.
• Discarding all expired and spoiled food items stored in the stock rooms, refrigerators, and freezers.
REQUIREMENTS
Position Title: Commis Chef
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: up to 1.7K AED plus accommodation and meals
Job Location: Dubai, UAE
Qualifications:
• Open to Filipino, Indian and Nepali Nationals
• Male, 40 years old and below
• At least 1 year experience in in an Asian restaurant serving Filipino, Japanese or Korean cuisine or Hotel Staff Cafeteria
• Knowledge in MS Office is preferred.
