KBR is looking for a commissioning superintendent mechanical (U&O) - piping & rotary with onshore site experience in MEGA EPC projects to be based in Abu Dhabi for a PMC project.

Experience required:

Bachelor's degree in engineering is a must. Candidates should have a minimum of seventeen years of relevant experience in commissioning and operation readiness positions, with experience in the GCC region preferred. Must have at least five years of experience in a similar position in oil and gas or petrochemical projects, with preference given to commissioning sour gas, hydrogen production, and hydrodesulfurization projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Review commissioning manuals issued by EPC contractors or vendors.
  • Verify mechanical completion certificate requirements for various systems and subsystems.
  • Participate in commissioning meetings and other related meetings.
  • Participate in troubleshooting analysis to resolve commissioning obstacles.
  • Verify the readiness of systems and subsystems for mechanical completion and ready for start-up certificate issuance.
  • Monitor and approve the closeout of punch lists in the assigned area.
  • Ensure completion and handover methodology is proceeding in compliance with related contractual documents.
