What you'll be doing

- Assist in the implementation of P&C communication strategy together with supporting the stakeholders with the delivery of their marketing and communications plans.
- Draft and proofread content for all internal and external comms material (announcements, emails, newsletter, policies, etc) across all platforms and channels (intranet, mobile application, social media, press release, website, etc)
- Contribute to designing campaigns and preparing and delivering events across a full range of major communications events in a highly collaborate environment - assist with the planning and execution of events, such as speaking opportunities and media briefings.
- Update OneChalhoub/MyChalhoub content as needed.
- Be the guardian of our Group design branding and ensure all-round consistency for the use of visual identity, tone and messaging in our internal and external materials.
- Stay informed of all updates and use the internal platforms for communication to support the vertical/country according to the Group comms plan.
- Generate monthly reports for all comms channels to ensure analytics assessment.
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with external and internal stakeholders to establish rapport and navigate easily and effectively in the business environment.
- Support the Communication team in coordinating the preparation and delivery of major Group events.
- Design and follow-up the production of in-house communication materials (flyers, infographics, posters, invitations etc); - Support the creative design with publication activities, incl. photo search, applying graphic charter, layout of internal documents.
- Formulate solutions to problems, come up with creative ideas and recommend the processes necessary to see them through.
- Conduct research to stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in communications and marketing.

REQUIREMENTS

What you'll need to succeed

- Bachelor's degree
- Previous internal/external communications experience, public relations, or marketing
- Communication skills: Strong communication skills both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Excellent English and Arabic communication skills, French is a plus.
- Interpersonal skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to deal with a range of stakeholders.
- Organizational skills: Highly organized administrative skills - able to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
- Technical skills: have knowledge of intranet software or tools and social media management tools.
- Analytical skills: ability to analyze data and information to make informed decisions and recommendations.
- Problem-solving skills: ability to identify and solve problems in a creative and effective manner.
- An interest in HR Communications is highly preferable.
- Digital content creation experience is also preferable.
