JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to work for a tier-one contractor to manage a marine project in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, particularly in the marine projects sector, and will be responsible for ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of various construction projects within the designated timelines and budget constraints.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of marine construction projects, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and scheduling.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and executed effectively.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards to ensure a safe and high-quality work environment.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors and construction teams to ensure efficient and timely project delivery.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, progress reports, and cost estimates to track project performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the construction team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Proactively identify and address potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines and budgets, and implement effective solutions to mitigate these challenges.

Salary:
AED 20,000 to 26,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in construction management, with a focus on marine construction projects. Experience in the region is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials, particularly related to marine construction and infrastructure projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse construction team to achieve project goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and adapt to changing project requirements in a dynamic construction environment.
