JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Guildhall is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and manage substructure construction activities for this landmark infrastructure project. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering complex foundations and underground works to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage all substructure works including piling, foundations, basements, and underground structures
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor construction activities to ensure alignment with project schedules and budgets
• Supervise site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective execution of works
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements
• Coordinate closely with design, engineering, and project management teams
• Identify risks related to substructure works and implement mitigation measures
• Prepare and review progress reports, method statements, and technical documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure or airport projects
• Proven experience managing substructure and foundation works on major projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, quality control, and HSE standards
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills
• Experience working in the Middle East is an advantage
