JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager – Roads & Infrastructure to lead site execution on major RTA road projects in Dubai. The successful candidate must have prior experience working on large-scale RTA projects and demonstrate strong knowledge of RTA standards, authority coordination, and complex urban construction environments.
The role will be responsible for managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring works are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with RTA specifications and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities for major road and infrastructure works.
• Ensure full compliance with RTA standards, specifications, and approval requirements.
• Coordinate with RTA inspectors, consultants, and relevant authorities.
• Oversee traffic diversions, staging plans, and temporary works approvals.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site engineering teams.
• Monitor progress against programme and implement corrective actions where required.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and Dubai Municipality requirements.
• Coordinate utility diversions and relocations (DEWA, Etisalat, DU, DM, etc.).
• Ensure quality control procedures are implemented and maintained.
• Report regularly to the Project Manager on site performance, risks, and progress.
Requirements:
Minimum Requirements• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 12+ years of experience in road and infrastructure construction in the UAE.
• Proven experience working on at least one major RTA roads project in Dubai.
Strong knowledge of:
• RTA road and infrastructure specifications
• Traffic management and diversion implementation
• Utility coordination processes
• Asphalt works, road base, drainage, and structural elements
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience on projects valued at AED 150M+
• PMP certification (advantageous)
• Strong understanding of FIDIC contract environments
• Experience in Design & Build (D&B) projects
• Arabic language skills (advantageous)

Salary:
AED
35,000 to 40,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
