Consultant Neonatologist

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Neonatologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Neonatologist, you will play a vital role in providing specialized care to newborn infants who are premature or have medical complications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide medical care to newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)
- Diagnose and treat medical conditions and illnesses in newborns
- Conduct physical exams and assessments to evaluate the health of newborns
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
- Educate and guide parents and family members on the care and needs of their newborn
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and techniques in neonatal care
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and patient privacy regulations

Requirements:

- Medical degree and license to practice as a Neonatologist
- Completion of residency and fellowship programs in Neonatology
- Strong knowledge and understanding of neonatal care, procedures, and treatments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards newborns and their families
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends

Salary:
AED 55,000 to 70,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
