JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant or Specialist Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon to join our esteemed healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing complex surgical procedures on infants and children with congenital or acquired heart conditions. This role requires not only exceptional surgical skills but also a compassionate approach to patient care and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for our young patients.

Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations of pediatric patients with heart conditions, including both pre-operative and post-operative assessments.
- Conduct complex cardiac surgeries, including but not limited to congenital heart defect repairs, valve replacements, and heart transplants.
- Collaborate with pediatric cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.

Requirements:

- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Completion of a residency in pediatric surgery and a fellowship in pediatric cardiac surgery.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric cardiac surgery, with a proven track record of successful surgical outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of the latest techniques and technologies in pediatric cardiac surgery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and a compassionate approach to dealing with young patients and their families.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Willingness to relocate to the UAE and adapt to a multicultural work environment.

Salary:
AED 45,000 to 95,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
