What you'll be doing

We are looking for a highly creative and hardworking content creator with a passion for beauty and storytelling. This role will focus on developing engaging content for multiple beauty innovation brands (4+), growing brand awareness, and driving audience engagement across social media platforms.

The ideal candidate has a strong creative eye, understands social trends, and knows how to craft compelling visual and video content. While having a TikTok or Instagram following is a plus, we're more interested in seeing proof of content creation skills and the ability to build and engage audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute creative content ideas for social media, including short-form videos, reels, and engaging visuals.
  • Plan and manage the social content calendar, ensuring consistent and timely posting.
  • Capture high-quality, creative shots that align with brand aesthetics and storytelling.
  • Grow brand followers and engagement through innovative content strategies.
  • Stay ahead of social media trends, leveraging viral moments and platform features.
  • Collaborate with PR and marketing teams to support influencer outreach and product seeding initiatives.
  • Analyze content performance using social media analytics tools and adjust strategies to optimize engagement and reach.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing and design teams to align content with brand messaging and campaigns.
  • Receive and implement feedback to refine and improve content execution.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in content creation or social media engagement.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing engaging social media content, particularly on TikTok and Instagram.
  • Passion for beauty, trends, and innovative storytelling.
  • Ability to shoot, edit, and produce high-quality content using a smartphone or camera.
  • Basic proficiency in editing software (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, Canva, or Lightroom for quick edits).
  • Familiarity with social scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Planoly, Meta Business Suite).
  • Basic copywriting skills for captions and post descriptions.
  • Understanding of social media algorithms, audience-building techniques, and key performance metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, follower growth).
  • Experience with influencer outreach and PR is a plus.
  • Highly creative, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
