JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are hiring a Senior PR and Content Executive plays a crucial role in managing our public relations and content marketing efforts. The individual will be primarily responsible for creating and promoting content to enhance brand visibility, reputation, and engagement; and will manage relationship with Publications, influencers, and external agencies to build reputation for the brand in a progressive manner.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
• Develop and execute a content marketing strategy aligned with the company's goals and target audience.
• Identify content themes, topics, and formats that resonate with the target audience.
• Produce high-quality and engaging content, including blog posts, articles, infographics, videos, and more.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and insights for content creation.
• Ensure all content aligns with brand voice and messaging guidelines.
• Manage content distribution across various digital channels, including the company website, social media, email marketing, and third-party platforms.
• Utilize SEO and keyword optimization to improve content visibility.
• Monitor audience engagement with content and respond to comments and inquiries.
• Foster a sense of community and engagement around the brand through content.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and industry influencers.
• Create and distribute press releases and pitch story ideas to media outlets.
• Handle media inquiries and coordinate interviews and media appearances.
• Work to enhance the company's reputation through positive media coverage and thought leadership.
• Identify opportunities for awards, recognition, and speaking engagements for company executives.
• Assist in developing crisis communication plans and be prepared to respond to PR crises promptly and effectively.
• Monitor media coverage and sentiment to assess the impact of PR efforts.
Analytics & Performance reporting
• Use analytics tools to track and measure the effectiveness of content and PR campaigns.
• Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights for improvement.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION?
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Proven experience in content marketing and public relations, preferably in a senior role.
• Strong writing and editing skills with an ability to create clear, persuasive content.
• Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and PR software.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and content distribution channels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Crisis management and media relations experience.
• Familiarity with media monitoring and analytics tools.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
• 6 to 8 years’ experience, preferably within financial services/fintech in a fast-paced environment
Job specific skills:
• Experience with online community building.
• Data-driven and highly analytical.
• Proficiency with Google & social media analytics.
