JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Our Client, an FMCG Company is currently looking for French, Arabic and English Speaker Corporate Communications Manager to join their business.

The Role

To manage and orchestrate all aspects of organizational and employment branding and corporate communications aimed at advancing the company's vision and strategy and creating favorable associations and a positive reputation with both internal and external stakeholders. While the corporate brand ownership resides with the company, the role serves in a brand governance capacity as a corporate steward and ambassador for the corporate brand.

The strategic role will be designed to be a key, high-impact role added to leverage a reputable brand to support impactful and cohesive Corporate Communications and deployment of the Company's Strategic Initiatives and Best-practice sharing and able to drive digital transformation within the communication framework.

Span of Control / Budget Control:

Communication & PR activities (brochures, newspaper advertising etc.), Internal Campaign Collaterals ( posters, t-shirts, design etc), Digital/Online communication tools, Employee Communications, Media Relations, CSR, Crisis Mgmt, M&A Communication, Environmental Affairs

Responsibilities

Strategic Corporate Communication

* Works closely with the COO to develop and implement an enterprise-wide corporate communication plan with strategies focused on increasing employee engagement and advancing the company's vision and strategy
* Executive speech writing/talking points
* Consulting on corporate presentations (e.g., content, presentation, and delivery)
* Identifying high-visibility speaking engagements (business planning, leadership meetings, speeches, town halls, awards, etc)

Engaging Internal/External Corporate Communications

* Drives communications with a focus on shared meaning, connectivity, and satisfaction
* Drives corporate campaigns designed to tell the Company story throughout all online, print, video, and social channels
* Collaborates with Executive and Marketing teams to develop and share company brand and communication plans
* Responsible for managing editorial, design and production of all Company's publications in collaboration with the Marketing team
* Researches, creates, and promotes campaigns that appeal to a broad range of target audiences
* Liaise (where necessary) with vital third parties such as designers, collateral vendors for execution of campaigns

Employer of Choice Communications & Branding

* Works in collaboration with HR Services, Marketing, and Executive teams to develop and implement a measurable and effective communications strategy to attract an engaged workforce to align with Talent Sourcing initiatives;
* Strategy to include advertising (company profile), corporate applications/awards, etc
* Acts as a champion throughout the organization by creating opportunities for all associates to learn how to best promote the Company as a 'Great Place to Work'

Proactive Reputation Management - Corporate Public & Media Relations

* Plan and maintain a calendar of news to raise awareness of the company's innovations (whenever released)
* Write and manage the review of press releases, statements and Q&A documents
* Takes a lead role on initiatives connected to the company's public image
* Issues management, and crisis communications; establishes relationships with media, influencers, and other contacts to positively increase company exposure with target audiences (if required)
* Leads the external PR agency in crisis communication planning and execution (if required)

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

* Provide oversight and manage CSR activities over areas of operation in close cooperation with HR and Marketing teams
* Coordinate closely with HR & Marketing to ensure CSR activities are aligned with corporate values and consistent with brand positioning

Environmental Affairs

* Investigate the political and social engagement in environmental affairs in all countries (recycling activities, new legislations & NGO activities) and update the status report regularly
* Suggest required actions to assure that the Company improves its environmentally friendly image

REQUIREMENTS

Required work experience and skills:

* 8 to 10 years of experience in a corporate communication along with the marketing knowledge & background
* Ability to create ideas and follow them up
* Proven skills on transforming communications through digital platforms

Languages required to be known:

* English, Arabic & French is a MUST.

Required educational qualifications:

* Bachelor or Master's Degree with main focus on Marketing/ Communications
