Cost Control Engineer / Quality Surveyor Dubai

Oversee comprehensive cost management and control of engineering projects to ensure alignment between economic benefits and social benefits.

Job description

- Estimate project costs based on preliminary design and requirements, conduct in-depth analysis of project input-output, and provide crucial reference for project decisions.
- Manage project costs, including developing project cost plans, monitoring project costs, performing cost accounting and analysis, etc.
- Participate in project initiation, application, approval, implementation, supervision, and inspection, providing essential support and guarantees for smooth project execution.
- Organize and compile project budgets and settlement documents according to project requirements and actual conditions. Additionally, oversee project progress, quality, and safety to ensure project objectives are met.
- Conduct market inquiries, research, and procurement of materials and equipment based on project needs and market conditions. This involves understanding market trends, establishing good relationships with suppliers, and ensuring transparency and efficiency in the procurement process.
- Provide assistance and support to project management personnel, including coordinating various aspects of work and addressing issues that arise during the project to ensure its smooth progress.
- Assist project management personnel in completing other cost management-related tasks.
- Perform other tasks assigned by leadership.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above, in fields such as Engineering Budgeting, Engineering Cost, or related disciplines.
- Familiarity with construction cost management in Dubai, with over 3 years of experience in a real estate company or large construction general contracting enterprise in Dubai, specializing in civil engineering cost.
- Candidates with successful independent cost management cases and expatriate experience will be preferred.
- Knowledgeable in real estate project management, with expertise in engineering budgeting and cost management.
- Proficiency in English, with the ability to use as working languages.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to complete tasks efficiently.
- Numerically adept and proficient in using office software.
- Diligent, meticulous, and hardworking.
