JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various cranes and lifting equipment to support construction and maintenance activities. Your expertise will contribute to ensuring safety and efficiency on site, making a significant impact in the engineering and oil & gas sector.
Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes in a safe and efficient manner to lift, move, and position loads as per project requirements.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on cranes and lifting equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while operating cranes and instructing crew members on site.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate lifting operations and ensure proper load handling.
- Maintain accurate records of lifting activities, including crane inspections and maintenance logs.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on cranes to ensure optimal performance.
- Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to enhance operational knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Crane Operator in the construction or oil & gas industry.- Valid Crane Operator certification and relevant licenses for the operation of mobile and/or tower cranes.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to crane operations.
- Ability to interpret technical documents, including load charts and lift plans.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina for operating machinery.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with site personnel.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at elevated heights.
Salary:
AED
3,000 to 3,500
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
