Helpling is the leading online platform for on-demand home services. We are an intermediary platform that matches customers with cleaners. Through our platform/app, customers can book a cleaner in only 60 seconds.

We launched our Middle East operations in 2015 in Dubai, and we are looking for a passionate and capable Customer Service Agent to join our team.

Helpling is a Rocket Internet & MEIG backed venture, currently active in more than 200 cities in nine countries around the globe, where we serve ten-thousands of customers every day.

You will be part of a very International Helpling and Rocket Internet Team. You will be surrounded by young, smart and hard-working professionals who are very passionate about the startup environment. Small teams and lots of responsibilities. The roles often overlap, and we all work as a team.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a self-reliant self-starter who enjoys entrepreneurial work. As a Customer Service Agent, you will work across key departments to help develop and manage the relationships with our network of cleaning service providers and customers. This is a hands-on opportunity to build upon your strong track record in relationship management but will also provide a strong inside into Marketing and other departments of Helpling. The Customer Service Agent will report directly to the Operations Manager of Helpling and will closely work with the Retention Department. The successful candidate will have the flexibility and reach to influence and revolutionize the whole household market in the Middle East.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Overseeing Customer Services Operations across all aspects such as customer care, complaints, and escalations.
• Ensuring that communication and processes between customers and cleaning companies is run smoothly and efficiently mainly on matters to do with booking availabilities, general account management, issue management.
• Identifying and building new ways to improve our internal processes and leading the internal change in the area of customer service – you will be expected to introduce new processes, quality measures (e.g. bonus system for cleaners, customer retention programs etc…)
• There is lots of room for innovation, you can also participate in introducing ideas to our cleaning partners on cleaning trainings and intro courses for our partners through Helpling.

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will possess the following:

• Fluency in Arabic is essential – both oral and written
• Degree qualified
• Experience in the Hospitality Industry, preferably in Customer Service or Relationship Management.
• Driver’s License important.
• An entrepreneurial spirit – passionate about the start-up scene and ready to roll up your sleeves to build the next Dubai success story!
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written English skills a must
• Flexibility – comfortable working with people from a variety of backgrounds
• A sense of humor
