JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Key Purpose

The purpose of this position is deal with all elements of customer communication including NOL complaints, fine appeals and general complaints received from passengers on Dubai Metro and Tram. He/ she will need to investigate customer complaints/ appeals and aid the RTA in providing the final resolution on these cases.

Reason for Role

- The main reason for this role is to investigate and resolve any customer queries in relation to the Dubai Metro and Tram.
- Structure and reporting relationship
- Reporting to Assistant Manager - Customer Service (Planning and Performance Department, Operations)
- Based on the specific requirement of the role

Key Accountabilities

- Handle all customers' complaints, queries, recommendations and appeals as per Serco's contractual requirements
- Investigate customer cases based on solid evidence like CCTV, NOL Card Transaction history and any other documentation provided by the passenger
- Manage the Customer Relationship Management System for cases assigned to self
- Take responsibility of ensuring that the Monthly KPI for closing cases with the SLA is met
- Handle customers' requirements and enquiries by telephone and email
- Provide timely input for any reports as required by the higher management
- Ensure the company strategies and quality systems are followed
- Report and solve faults and problems according to company procedure
- Perform and carry out other duties as instructed / directed by the Planning & Performance Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

Essential Qualifications

- A degree or high diploma holder in any discipline
- Excellent numerical and PC skills including the use of MS Excel and 2-D graphs as analytical tools
- Highly motivated and flexible to be able to work in a time-sensitive environment and respond quickly and effectively to unanticipated high workloads, events and emergencies
- Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Essential technical, professional skills, knowledge and essential experiences

- A degree or high diploma holder in any discipline
- Proficient in spoken and written English and Arabic
- Active listening
- Attentive to details and able to multitask
- Good interpersonal and communications skills at all levels.
