• We are seeking a proficient Data Scientist who will be able to solve the big-data problems in payments area using statistical analysis, data mining and machine learning.
• The candidate should be able to apply business knowledge to do broad data analysis as a precursor to modeling and to provide valuable business intelligence, while playing an essential role in driving the implementation of Cyber Security analytics and data asset enrichment.
• You will work closely with other team members to continually evolve data solutions as the business changes.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely with Cyber Security Data Engineer, and the reporting team to implement complex big data projects with a focus on collecting, parsing and managing large sets of data using multiple platforms
• Collaborate with architects to define the high level architecture for the analytics platform
• Oversee consolidation of data into cyber security analytics platform
• Design logical and physical databases to support reporting and analytics activities
• Present your analysis to management teams and drive process improvements based on data
• Retrieve and analyze data using SQL, data warehouse tools and other data management systems
• Create forecasting system for the top metrics to automatically identify the trend and outliers and discover the driving reason behind
• Perform a deep dive and analysis on the data to assess key business metrics
• Familiar with credit/risk evaluation modelling and help improving the customer experience in payment space
• Escalate problems or variance in the information and data to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered
• Expand and grow cyber security data platform capabilities to solve new data problems and challenges

Knowledge and Experience

• Strong problem solving skills
• Advanced programming skills in Javascript/HTML/CSS, Python, C# and Scala
• Experience using ElasticSearch or Apache Solr Redshift, Tableau, Spark, Splunk, Hadoop, Kibana
• Experience with Machine Learning Packages with R/Python
• You have worked with massive structured and unstructured data sets
• Experience using Big Data technologies like Apache, Spark
• Experience in SQL, T-SQL and MS SQL Server, working with data warehouse environments and building ETLs including use of SSIS in a business environment
