Synopsis
As a Demand Manager at Etihad Airways, you will play a crucial role in maximizing revenue through accurate demand forecasting, in-depth analysis of demand patterns, market trends, and competitor strategies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies that contribute to achieving network PRASK (Passenger Revenue per Available Seat Kilometer) targets.
Accountabilities
- Revenue Optimization: Achieve monthly revenue targets and maximize network revenue through accurate demand forecasting and strategic revenue management tactics.
- Accurate Forecasting: Precisely forecast demand, ensuring detailed mapping at multiple dimensions (e.g., Class, time of departure, day of week, Origin, and Destination), especially during peak periods and special events.
- Peak Management: Strategically manage revenue during peak times and special events to capitalize on demand fluctuations.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to identify opportunities and threats and adjust strategies as necessary.
- Performance Analysis and Data-Driven Adjustments: Track and analyse revenue performance metrics, conduct regular performance reviews, and make data-driven recommendations for improvements. Refine demand trends, validate system outputs, and ensure accurate Origin and Destination data to optimize revenue management inputs and network optimization results.
- Collaboration: Work closely with all commercial departments, Network Planning, alliance, sales, e-commerce, marketing and loyalty, to ensure pricing and revenue strategies align with overall business objectives.
- Systems and Tools: Utilize revenue management software and tools effectively to support decision-making and optimize revenue opportunities.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance revenue outcomes continuously.
- Project Involvement: Provide expertise in demand strategies for revenue management projects.
Requirements:
Education & Experience- Educated to degree level or with relevant analytical experience
- 5 years working experience in a numerate and analytical role
- High familiarity with airline systems, such as PROS, Origin & Destination Systems, GDS, DDS, and reporting tools as tableau, zenztech.
