Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and promotional plans
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align on forecast assumptions and inventory needs
- Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure optimal product availability across all distribution channels
- Analyze sales performance and adjust forecasts and plans accordingly to minimize overstock and stockouts
- Assist in seasonal planning and product life cycle management
- Manage and track Open to Buy (OTB) budgets ensuring purchasing aligns with sales targets and inventory strategy
- Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making
- Support S&OP processes and drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 5 years of experience in demand planning, preferably in the retail or distribution sector
- Strong analytical and Excel skills; experience with forecasting tools is a plus
- Familiarity with Open to Buy planning and retail inventory metrics
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
