JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

To deliver and evaluate training programs to a multicultural audience within the Emirates Group and its strategic partners by using a variety of delivery techniques. To continuously and consistently support in meeting the requirements across the line departments with particular reference to department specific roles and procedures, Airline specific / DCS training. To conduct knowledge based and practical training to a group, as well as one-on-one skill based training and on-job-training, in alignment with dnata VMV and corporate objectives, dnata Training standards and procedures, relevant national and international standards and regulations, as well as OHS requirements.

Accountabilities

- Prepare to effectively conduct the allocated training programmes in accordance with dnata Training standards adapting delivery style to suit target audience, making use of appropriate learning aids and ensuring the outcome is met at the end of the course.
- Deliver training programmes which may involve knowledge based or practical training to a group, work-skill instruction or facilitating learning in the workplace to continuously and consistently support in meeting the requirements across the line departments with particular reference to department specific roles and procedures, Airline specific / DCS training and in compliance with OHS requirements.
- Adapt the delivery method to support and reinforce new learning, build on strengths, and identify areas of development for the learners.
- Monitor learner progress by using measures to ensure learners are acquiring and can use new technical or generic skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to special projects within the scope of training as may be assigned in coordination with the line management aiming for enhanced service quality, best working practices and productivity improvements.
- Lead and supervise reporting Senior Assistant Trainers and On Job Trainers, setting goals and targets and conducting performance appraisals in line with corporate performance management process. Manage performance in a fair, balanced and timely manner. Update L&D Officer/L&D Specialist with team achievements and areas of development.
- Demonstrate continuous learning in the area of expertise as well as Training and Development by keeping self-updated with the specific areas of expertise within the EK Group and across the airline and training industry in general.
- Disseminate knowledge effectively, highlighting the latest information, methods and best practices in their field of expertise to both training colleagues and trainees.
- Contribute to assessment by discussing and confirming with the learner the assessment context, including learner characteristics and any need for reasonable adjustments.
- Assess competence by examining the collected evidence and evaluate it to ensure that it reflects the evidence required to demonstrate competence.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the training delivered using recognised evaluation model. Identify the learner's reaction to the training programme by submitting the Learner Feedback Form, collating the feedback and recording the score for the quality of training.
- Conduct Line Checks at operational, functional areas and equipment to establish the effective transfer of learning at the workplace.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications & Experience

- Degree or Diploma in Engineering Discipline (or equivalent)

Experience

- Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years relevant experience in operations or training experience in their discipline of training.
- Diploma 4-6 years of experience in operations or training experience in their discipline of training.
