Employment: Full Time

DESIGN MANAGER
Salary 48-60,000 AED per Month Dependent Upon Experience

Successful candidates will have at least 2 MAJOR Projects (650 Million AED +) delivered in the Gulf for a Tier 1 Buildings Main Contractor.

Project Based Design Manager sat on a new build award in Dubai.

This Design Manager will have the confidence and communication skills to lead , drive and manage all aspects of the design & technical aspect.

Value :1.8 Billion AED
Scope :Shopping Mall – Large Footprint
Program: 35 Months

Have you managed a multi national team?

• You understand how to manage a demanding client, designer & external stakeholders when it comes to a Major Shopping Mall.
• You understand that you have to protect the project whilst managing the design so that solutions and compromises take place so that program is not lost.

There is a time to be architectural and a time to be practical as our client would say!

Reporting into an Experience Project Director that has built 2 Major Shopping Malls you will be his eyes , ears and department head for design based on site.

Day to day, week to week , monthly duties and management experience :

• You will be leading a Design, Engineering & CAD& draughtsman
• Coordinating structural, finishes & MEP aspects of the build
• Managing the process, procedures and ensuring the project is built as per the contract in line with client wishes
• Managing design clashes, site issues and technical aspects affecting the shopping mall
• Presenting on elements of design and technical related progress as part of the senior management team

Salary:
AED 48,000 to 60,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

REQUIREMENTS

The following is essential for a successful application & interview request:

• 12 Years Post Graduate Experience
• Minimum of 2 Projects as the Design Manager lead for a Tier 1 in the MENA region
• Clear Design , Engineering & Technical experience on site for a Tier 1 Main Contractor on a “LIVE project” no bid, not finished but complete life cycle
• Degree Educated from a reputable University
• Strong communication skills to manage your team, client, upstream and downstream – this will be shown in the introduction to NSR Associates
• Based in the UAE and available for face to face interviews
