• Review the civil and infrastructure side of the plans and specifications and comment on the design, scheduling, possible cost savings measures and foresee any potential design problems that may arise.
• Supports and implement Risk Management initiatives.
• Incharge of making important decisions regarding project design based on civil and infrastructure knowledge and requirements.
• Compliance with all technical aspects of the contract and implement the HSE procedures and other contractual obligations.
• Approves engineering design, drawings of the project for implementation.
• Follows strict safety procedures when modifying existing construction. Must have an advanced understanding and knowledge related to construction techniques.
• Identifies, develops and implements new and improved programmes, policies and procedures related to civil and infrastructure works.
• Provides sound engineering design and advice of infrastructure management relevant to sub divisional or other major development projects and drainage to consultants, developers, agencies, community, engineering management, internal service teams, and other key stakeholders for the project.
• Actively participate in budgeting and scheduling design tasks, develop strong business relationships with customers and outside partners and ability to use design software to preview interior design changes before they are completed in order to reach all project goals in a timely manner.
• Undertakes and implements road traffic safety design, investigates and interprets road crash data and provides report to Management.
• Prepare and implement procedures or systems within company procedures and guidelines to ensure orderly and efficient workflow.
• Prepares proposal, documentation requirements, progress and cost report of various infrastructure project(s) assigned.
• Monitors and maintains best practice and industry benchmarks in technical and financial areas.
• Represent the company in the highest professional and ethical manner at all times.
• Involves in the design and creation of infrastructures. These structures include water and sewage systems, dams, highways, roads, bridges, tunnels, railroads, industrial buildings, and warehouses. Also responsible for the technical aspects of an infrastructure project, delivering a structure in the most cost effective manner and under a deadline.
• Draw design details of civil engineering projects and perform basic design analysis of project elements involve.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Department Head.
