JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Our client is a Contractor based in the UAE who are currently working on several Entertainment and museum projects in Dubai. This particular project is a Theme Park based in the UAE and is a great opportunity for any design manager to be apart of an exciting project.

The major responsibilities of this role are to coordinate between Architectural & Engineering vendors and Ride/Show vendors, including the development of all preliminary final facility impacts. Monitor construction in the field, including identifying and resolving discrepancies between construction drawings and/or design intent. Manage the Architectural & Engineering vendors throughout the design and construction phases of the project. Review drawings and specifications to insure that they meet the design intent, the creative appearance, and are complete and accurate for construction. Managing the Architectural & Engineering contractual obligations. Preparation of any directives, negotiation of all changes, and the incorporation of any agreed upon changes into the clients agreement.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree: Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management degree required.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
• Licensed Architect or Engineer required.

Experience Required
• 7-10 Years with turn-key projects, specifically within the large project hotel and entertainment/theme park industry.
• Supervisory and contract/vendor management is of extreme importance.
• Interior design experience is a must.
• Hand and computer drawing, and drafting skills.
• AUTO CAD, Revit, Sketch Up, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Power Point.
• Knowledge of forecasting and budget allocation techniques.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Familiarity of international (expatriate assignments) is highly desirable or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must have AutoCADD skills.
