JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

This opportunity is with a Multinational company, a global leader specializing in advanced industrial products and services for the energy and mobility sectors into manufacturing of products in stainless steel and high-nickel alloy.

In this position you would be responsible for the following:

• Provide technical expertise and support to manufacturing operations, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Develop and implement engineering solutions to enhance product performance, reliability, and manufacturing productivity.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and R&D to address technical challenges and improve product design and manufacturing processes.
• Conduct analysis and interpretation of engineering data, including design calculations, simulations, and test results, to guide decision-making and problem-solving.
• Participate in design reviews, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with technical standards and customer requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate engineering findings, project updates, and recommendations effectively.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements relevant to the OCTG industry.

Requirements:

To be successful you would ideally possess :

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive experience in engineering roles within the OCTG industry or similar manufacturing sectors.
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in engineering principles, including mechanical design, materials selection, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with engineering software and tools for design, analysis, and simulation (e.g., CAD, FEA).
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex engineering problems and drive projects to successful completion.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and present technical information clearly and concisely.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
