JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Job Description:
Fantastic opportunity to join a leading Gulf based retail group with operations across 10 countries and over 300 retail stores. With multiple retail brands including fashion they are a well regarded group with a high level of professionalism.
The Position:
• Development of annual business plans, associated budgets and marketing strategy for the retail divisions
• Day to day management of the marketing team
• Work on annual marketing / promotions calendar in line with international brand partners
• Perform required market research on competitors, performance analysis
• Work with internal and external media companies preparing advertising material for campaigns throughout the GCC
• Drive the groups digital marketing strategy e-commerce / CRM / social media / e-marketing initiatives
• Provide necessary public relations releases to media as required
• Working with international Brand partners to coordinate necessary brand marketing integrity
REQUIREMENTS
Your Experience:
• Minimum of 7 years commercial Marketing Management experience.
• It is essential to have strong & recent retail marketing with a large corporate / international retailer
• Must have excellent understanding of Digital Marketing within a retail group ie. e-commerce, social media, CRM is essential
• Must be a strong people manager with a coaching & people development style
• Experience in fashion, department stores, beauty, home is well regarded with a leading retailer or group of companies
• Proven abilities in managing annual marketing budgets
• Creative and innovative thinker
• Ability to travel internationally as required
• Used to working with Media & advertising companies on providing effective & innovative briefs for campaigns
