JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client is a Household name and leading Global Financial Services Company. Their MENA Headquarters is based in Dubai, has been established for well over a Decade, and they have long standing relationships with the vast majority of their clients.
They are looking to appoint a new Senior Credit Risk Professional to help support their Relationship Management Teams.
In this is a newly created position, you will be tasked with the following:
• Prepare and present in-depth business and financial analysis, financial forecasts, sensitivity analysis, etc., for a portfolio of MENA based Corporate clients.
• Interact with senior financial managers of Clients and their financial advisors
• Mentor Junior Staff
• Keep abreast of Industry Changes and update personal technical skills
REQUIREMENTS
• Graduate in finance, corporate finance, accounting, economics or related discipline with postgraduate qualifications an advantage.
• Minimum of 7 years Credit Risk experience analyzing corporate sector with focus in MENA;
• Extensive experience working in a Sharia compliant environment (ideally Islamic Banks).
• The role is also open to fixed income research/equity research or IBD/DCM candidates servicing the same profile of Clients
• Strong quantitative aptitude and demonstrated analytical ability.
• Understanding of complex transaction structures, with exposure to documentation review.
• Strong organizational skills with sound judgment.
• Mature and balanced personality with ability to manage high level and often complex client relationships.
• Articulate and succinct communication skills both verbally and in writing with public speaking experience ideal.
• Previous experience writing research in either an equity or credit market context would be advantageous.
• Excellent English and Arabic spoken and written skills
