Hotel Overview:
Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair Hotel is a 620-room-and-suite upper upscale property. Catering for both business and leisure clientele. The hotel is located in Deira in the heart of Dubai and within easy reach of major tourist landmarks, leisure destinations and city services. It is linked to the Al Ghurair Shopping Centre, only 3 stops away on the Dubai Metro from the Dubai World Trade Centre and a 10 minute drive from Dubai International Airport.
Director of Sales & Marketing
The Director of Sales and Marketing oversees and direct all aspects of the Hotel's sales operation, marketing and promotions, sales and administration and public relations..

What you will be doing:
- Setting overall strategy for sales & marketing approach with regard to the management of all Inbound Operators and Wholesalers, travel agents, leisure, corporate markets and Mice market locally and internationally for the hotel
- Ensure company and Hotel's objectives are met through effective and appropriate packaging, product, pricing, and positioning of the Hotel
- Maintain supportive internal selling and cohesion between the Sales and Marketing Department and all Departments of the Hotel
- Oversees all aspects of marketing and communication, including e-commerce/digital marketing and social media
- Asses margin of contribution of group business to maximize contribution from available room inventory
REQUIREMENTS
Your experience and skills include:
- Minimum experience of 5 years as DOSM in driving Sales & Marketing initiatives.
- Knowledge of Market Trend and networking in Dubai.
- Excellence in strategic leadership and team management.
- Ability to work under pressure running several campaigns simultaneously.
- Positive attitude and good communication skills.
- Self-driven always looking for creative initiatives to drive sales.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work under market pressures.
Visa requirements:
Please note that you must be eligible to live and work in Dubai. Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair will cover visa costs and flights for selected candidates from place of origin.
