Job Description

Accor Hotels & Resorts Premium, Midscale, and Economy Brands across the Middle East, Africa, Turkey, Asia, and the Pacific region are seeking a talented and experienced social media Director to develop and execute social media campaigns and promotions in MEASPAC. The social media Director will carry a dual responsibility for MEASPAC and MEA, with overall responsibility for the strategy and execution of Accor's social media marketing efforts in the region. The successful candidate will need to be tech-savvy, results-driven, and experienced in managing teams across multiple geographies and cultures.

Social Media Strategy:

- Develop and execute social media campaigns and promotions for Accor's Premium, Midscale, and Economy Brands and Accor Live Limitless in MEASPAC
- Analyse data and metrics to understand the effectiveness of social media efforts and identify areas for improvement
- Provide training and guidance to other team members on social media best practices.
- Manage and lead the social media team across all MEASPAC hubs. Work closely with social media Hub leads on the implementation of the regional plan

Social Content Development & Distribution:

- Define and implement processes around creating and publishing content, engaging with followers, and analysing and reporting on the success of social media campaigns.
- Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, PR, and customer service, to ensure that the organization's social media efforts are aligned with overall business goals
- Collaborate with content creators and in-country experts to facilitate and support hotel visits and shoots
- Create and manage a repository of social media content for regional and local use

Community/Influencer Management & Customer Experience:

- Work closely with Marketing, PR and Customer Experience teams on the reporting of and management of all social media engagements
- Implement escalation and support process, community guidelines, and policies.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., marketing, business, hospitality)
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Digital marketing related role
- Minimum of 3 years in a senior Social Media management role
- Strong team management skills and experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency with Social Media software and data analysis tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- French and/or Arabic proficiency is a must.
