JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
• We are looking for a passionate, committed and outstanding Director of Sport to join us at GEMS Cambridge High School , Abu Dhabi. This is a fantastic opportunity for educators to start or continue their international career with a leading global education company.

• In support of the school curriculum, we are looking for a Director of Sport who is excited to join our school and is driven to provide PE/Sport education at an exceptional level.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful applicant should have the following:
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education.
• A certified teaching qualification such as BEd, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent with a specialisation in PE.
• Willingness to lead on GCSE, AS and/or A-Level Physical Education (experience in any of this is desirable).
• Experience of curriculum mapping across Primary and/or Secondary Physical Education is essential.
• Experience of coordinating Extra-Curricular activities and sporting fixtures.Level 1 Qualified Swim Coach certification.
• A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and beyond the classroom.
• Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents.
