JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Currie & Brown is currently looking for an experienced document controller for a large hotel project in Ras Al Khaimah.
The successful candidate will support project leaders in generating a high standard of service delivery, achieving successful outcomes for our clients, capturing and sharing knowledge across projects, enhancing our culture of innovation and reinforcing our reputation as a preferred service provider.
Responsibilities for the successful candidate will include:
• Establishing master copy storage and database for all documentation
• Logging and filing communications, updating drawing and documenting status records and generating reports
• Tracking and co-ordinating staff leave schedules
• Examining project-specific documents, including drawings and specifications to verify information provided by consultants
• Ensuring timely and accurate updates of all sources of information
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
• BSc in business administration or similar subject
• Filipino nationality preferred
• Must be located near to Ras Al Khaimah or have a UAE driving licence
• Must have document control experience using EDMS systems such as ACONEX
• Experience of working on large building developments
• Knowledge of document practices
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Must have excellent time management skills and be able to prioritise and multitask
• Must be confident formatting documents in Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
