JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Faithful+Gould is currently looking for an experienced Document Controller to form part of our project team based in Abu Dhabi. This role is for 9 months contract working in a client environment .

Responsibilities:

- To support the head office management team in day to day duties throughout the project lifecycle from inception to completion including
- Maintaining a record of controlled documents on distribution.
- Maintenance of computerized databases.
- Recording of incoming / outgoing correspondence and design documentation.
- Use of databases to find design drawings.
- Produce requests for design drawings and monitor receipt of drawings.
- Control of drawings: checking in, quality check, transfers and return to client.
- Return of all design hand-back documentation to client.
- Production of Issue sets of design.
- Carry out quality checks of drawings produced.
- Create and maintain Project Document Control Files.
- Creation and management of trackers / registers for design deliverables
- Provide support to the bid management team

REQUIREMENTS

Requirement:

- Degree qualified: Bachelor Degree or equivalent in a related field;
- Must be able to communicate confidently in both written and spoken English;
- High level of computer literacy, especially in Windows, Word, Outlook and Excel;
- ACONEX experience essential;
- Experience with ISO9000 quality requirements.
