JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller with extensive construction site experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing project documentation for large-scale residential developments, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless coordination across all project stakeholders. This role will be responsible for managing and maintaining project documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The role involves organizing, tracking, and safeguarding all construction-related documents, drawings, contracts, and reports to facilitate efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and manage all project documents, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with company standards and regulations.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, contractors, and external vendors to facilitate document submission, approvals, and tracking.
• Track and manage Requests for Information (RFIs), transmittals, and submittals to ensure timely responses and approvals.
• Provide support in compiling reports, meeting minutes, and compliance documentation.
• Establish and enforce document control procedures for construction site documentation.
• Coordinate the distribution and retrieval of technical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely document submissions and approvals.
• Implement and manage document tracking systems to monitor revisions, updates, and approvals.
• Ensure all documentation is securely stored and easily accessible for audit and reference purposes.
• Support the site team in managing correspondence, reports, and compliance records.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Document Controller in large-scale residential construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction documentation, site processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in document management software and collaboration tools.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, site-based environment.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field (Construction Management, Engineering, or Administration preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in document control, preferably in construction or large-scale residential projects.
• Proficiency in document management software (e.g., Aconex, Procore, SharePoint, or similar).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Salary:
AED 6,000 to 7,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
