JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Working alongside this very influential and well-regarded Emirati Executive Director, you will be part of a growing, federal government entity. They are fast paced, and the ED has an extensive remit to develop the organisation and continue the growth that has taken place over the last two years.
Based 30 minutes outside of Dubai marina, this role may appeal to candidates both based in Dubai or in Abu Dhabi. Working in a close-knit office of approximately 20 individuals, you will provide 1:1 support to the ED and manage all the internal relationships within the office and significant external relationships with VVIP Government officials and industry leaders. Providing effective gatekeeping to the ED’s office, you will understand the protocol that will need to be applied to these meetings and the hierarchy involved.
This is an exciting role and will provide growth and stability for the right candidate within the government sector.
There will be significant Board work for both this entity and other Board logistics of external Board positions that the ED holds. This includes full preparation of the Board Meetings wherever they are held, coordination between all Board members, preparation of board packs, full agenda and then the follow-up board reports. There is considerable written and research work, hence our client is seeking excellent communication skills in English as well as strong MS Office skills. Complex diary and travel management are a large part of the role, coupled with event management in terms of arranging conferences and seminars. Additionally, there will be oversight of the personal administration for the ED, including managing personal finances, household staff administration and personal travel.
