JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
My client is looking for recruit for a qualification and experience Business development individual with experience focussing on the education sector.
Responsibilities:
* Devise, develop and deliver a comprehensive strategic and tactical plan for business development
* Research, develop and help execute and manage development initiatives in the region by gathering market intelligence, developing forecasts for potential business opportunities
* Keep abreast of new developments in the industry and competitive strategies and developments at a regional level.
* Participate in development of the organisation's periodic strategic and operational work plans.
* Develop and maintain close and effective relationships and networks with key stakeholders, leaders and decision makers at senior government departmental and ministerial levels.
* Screen potential business deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements, risks, potential, and financials and evaluating options.
* Develop negotiating strategies and positions by estimating the other party's needs and goals.
* Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
Qualification:
* MBA ( Finance), or equivalent in a related discipline
Experience:
* 7-10 years of overall business development experience, preferably in the UAE/MENA education sector and/or corporate finance experience.
