JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our Client, a government training institution based in Abu Dhabi is currently looking for a fully qualified Electrical & Data Technician who can operate as part of an electrical install team in direct support of the Site Manager responsible for the electrical layout and electrical commissioning of a range site. The responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Installation of underground conduits;
- Installation of cable tray and ducting;
- Testing circuits to the relevant standards and provide documentation.
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
- ITI/Diploma Holder or degree in electrical engineering
- With strong knowledge in data and fiber optic installation
- Must have minimum of 3 years of experience in electronics, repairs/maintenance and electrical installation industries
- Have good knowledge in instillation of Cat5/Cat6 and Fiber Optic cable
- Have good knowledge in applicable electrical trade codes, standards and regulations
- Have experience in installation of underground conduits
- Have experience in installation of cable tray and ducting
