Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer specializing in building services to join our dynamic team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical engineering for building projects, particularly within the UAE market. This role offers an opportunity to work on prestigious projects contributing to the growth and success of AtkinsRalis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and approved drawings.
• Review and provide feedback on technical submittals including method statements, inspection requests, and as-built drawings.
• Oversee contractor compliance with contract specifications and approved shop drawings.
• Witness the commissioning of major systems as described in the project specifications.
• Coordinate electrical services with other disciplines.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and contribute to weekly and monthly project reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or master's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Proven experience of 8-10 years in electrical engineering (site operations) for building services with a focus on site supervision.
• Previous experience working on building projects in the UAE is essential.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations and codes related to electrical systems in buildings.
• Proficiency in relevant design software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to design challenges.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively.
