Electrical Engineer

Job duties:

The electrical engineer will work under the guidance of the resident engineer and the project manager and will join the team of construction supervision works on various types of major road and infrastructure projects. Projects include construction supervision of roads, infrastructure services, and landscape works.

• Strong experience in the construction supervision of electrical works for the roads infrastructure and landscape projects in UAE/Dubai.
• Comprehensive knowledge of DEWA and RTA standards and specifications.
• Develop new procedures for QA/QC as applicable for inspections and test plans.
• Follow up on set inspections for installations and review the inspectors' performance regularly.
• Update progress for all assigned works to the resident engineer/project manager to include in reports.
• Review updated records that would form as-built records.
• Check and coordinate all assigned services.
• Coordinate with head office (design) for all material reviews and design queries.
• Have working knowledge in supervising works as applicable.
• Management experience with the ability to lead a team and communicate and interact with all other building disciplines.
• Client coordination, reporting, and communication skills.

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 10 years of experience within similar road and infrastructure projects.
• Valid professional engineering license.
• Comprehensive knowledge of DEWA and RTA standards and specifications.
• Proven experience in construction supervision of electrical works for roads infrastructure and landscape projects in UAE/Dubai.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control procedures in electrical engineering.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent project management and team leadership skills.
