JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

* Supervise electrical work, equipment, heavy duty machines, cranes, drill rigs, etc. including pre-job equipment preparation and post-job equipment repair and maintenance
* Lead all electricians and guide them where required
* Supervise work of electricians in the workshop: organize and control their daily activities, ensure electrical preventative maintenance in order to maximize their lifespan and ensure safety
* Provide technical assistance on sites during repair the machinery breakdown
* Functional/electrical testing and troubleshooting of panel boards
* Coordinate with Warehouse to ensure spare parts storage. Advise project managers about equipment availability
* Conduct site visits to monitor if the equipment is utilized as per the requirements
* Manage unplanned work resulting from breakdown and emergencies, make sure they are dealt in efficient manner.
* Establish, implement and monitor safe working practices and procedures. Monitor and action field faults and non-compliances
* All above events must be recorded systemically as per the process procedures

REQUIREMENTS

* Electrical Trade Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering;
* Able to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
* Electrical accreditation to work on active lines (under 1000V)
* 4-5 years of experience; must have experience in electrical section of workshop with complex equipment
* Troubleshooting of complex systems (more linked to industrial plants) including instrumentation and control loops
* Good command of English language both written and spoken
