Electrician

Description

Ontime Healthcare is on the hunt for a versatile and experienced electrician to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within our healthcare facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for both patients and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain various types of electrical equipment and systems, including lighting, wiring, and circuit breakers.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring swift resolutions.
• Interpret complex diagrams and blueprints to effectively execute electrical projects.
• Adhere to national and local electrical codes as well as safety standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential electrical hazards.
• Work collaboratively with other maintenance staff and contractors on larger projects.
• Provide updates to management on ongoing projects and electrical system statuses.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls, providing electrical support as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Thorough understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
• Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship or training program required.
• Valid licensing or certification as an electrician is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
