JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Engineer – Maintenance to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years of experience in maintaining and managing biomedical instruments and facilities. Experience in the pharmaceutical, biological, or medical device manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair biomedical instruments and equipment.
• Oversee the functionality and maintenance of HVAC systems and other essential equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support facility operations.
• Document maintenance activities and report on equipment status and performance.
• Support the installation and calibration of new equipment as required.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in handling biomedical instruments and facility management.
• Experience in biological, pharmaceutical, or medical device manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and other facility equipment.
• Familiarity with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality control processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Desirable Skills:
• Additional certifications or training in biomedical equipment or HVAC systems.
• Experience with calibration and maintenance of critical medical devices.
