JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Role Summary:
Performance & Analytics Engineer shall be responsible for on-time configuration & delivery of the Bently Nevada Performance & Analytics models by study of customer asset informations. This role will also require the successful testing & deployment of the models and conducting training programs.

Essential Responsibilities:Working as part of regional Performance & Analytics team to Design, Configure & Test an Engineered solution for online performance monitoring & analytics of turbomachinery in Oil & Gas industry.The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work closely with internal & external customers.

Key responsibilities of the role:
• Collect and evaluate the critical machine design information required to develop performance monitoring solution.
• Specify the critical instrumentation required for each equipment to perform online monitoring.
• Implement a suitable Thermodynamic and Energy balance model.
• Configure the software and demonstrate to customer during FAT / I-FAT / SAT.
• Support the Field Engineers, to troubleshoot the Performance and Analytics products.
• Analyze the machine operational data and conduct various analytical studies using the data to identify machine degradation and provide recommendation to mitigate the problem.
• Interact and cooperate with software development team for development of additional features, new tools and support them for Beta testing.
• Conduct internal and external customer training sessions.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Degree qualified or higher in an Engineering discipline (preferably Chemical / Mechanical).
• 3+ years of experience working with Turbo machinery Operation and Troubleshooting in Oil & Gas and/or power industry.
• Experience of turbo machinery condition monitoring and vibration monitoring equipment is preferable.
• Thorough with Thermodynamic and Energy Balance calculations for Rotating equipments, process loops and auxiliary systems.
• Good computer literacy in Windows & Microsoft Office products and shall be able to perform complex calculations & troubleshoot.
• Capability to act independently with minimum direction while working with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Characteristics:
• Ability and willingness to support moderate travel.
• Working knowledge of Bently Nevada's System1 software solution.
