JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Charterhouse is working with an oil and gas EPC company who is looking to hire an Engineering Design Manager for their office in the UAE.
You will coordinate projects from inception to completion while providing final reviews of other engineers work prior to client submittal ensuring all designs meet international recognized standards, codes and specifications and fulfil obligations under contract agreements. You will also manage the engineering teams activities, handle any customer interaction, provide support to commissioning and start-up plans, making sure all inspections and testing are completed correctly.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate should have an engineering Degree along with proven work experience as an Engineering Design Manager within the oil and gas industry working with PMC and EPC contractors and developing relationships. In addition, you should have a working understanding of all engineering codes and have previously worked on MS Project and/or Primavera. This role will be office based but travel to sites will be required.
