JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic construction team in Dubai, UAE. The Estimator will play a crucial role in analyzing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and supporting the successful execution of construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to provide comprehensive and competitive bids.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns for various construction projects.
- Monitor and update cost databases to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Identify potential risks and propose cost-effective solutions to optimize project budgets.
- Prepare and submit tender documents in accordance with company policies and client requirements.
- Maintain strong communication with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders throughout the estimation process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, preferably within the UAE market.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost estimation techniques.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
