JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
The Group CEO will soon be relocating to Dubai from overseas as the organisation is setting up a corporate office in the city. A 50-year-old diverse family business with origins in Africa, they have a large employee headcount and the group operates across multiple countries & sectors including polymers and consumer goods.
Currently with a Dubai office of 12 employees and growing, this role will support a very tech savvy CEO with his complex global travel arrangements, meetings and corporate affairs. Utilising strong communication and organisational skills the EA will offer support by attending meetings in person and on line to take minutes, distribute actions and take a proactive role in ensuring all deadlines are met across a broad range of functions. Collation of business reports via the internal ERP, data management and analysis are also key aspects of this new position. Drafting and editing of PowerPoint presentations and excel sheets on a regular basis, you will ensure a high attention to detail at all times.
Interacting at C-suite & Board level, the successful EA will communicate effectively and maintain high levels of confidentiality and diplomacy with all internal and external stakeholders. Representing the CEO and the organisation in a professional and proactive manner, you will be an excellent communicator with the ability to remain self-motivated and efficient. There will also be a small number of personal tasks to undertake such as organising family vacations and special events, but this is a small part of the overall function.
Requirements:
We expect that the successful candidate will have at least 3 years of Dubai exposure in a similar manufacturing industry, supporting those at a senior C-suite level. You will be exceptionally well organised, calm under pressure and able to manage multiple deadlines with ease. Being one step ahead of the CEO is vital due to his hectic global travel schedule, so flexibility to handle multiple time zones is crucial.ABOUT THE COMPANY
