Our client, a well known manufacturing company in the Middle East is currently looking for a Shift Supervisor.

In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Guide the press line team
• Cooperate with other departments, especially with dies and maintenance to improve process and equipment reliability
• Apply lean manufacturing concept developed by the company
• Responsible for shift KPI’s
• Produce in line with costumer’s expectations (Product quality and service)
• Work towards achieving departmental objectives and targets.
• Demonstrate and improve production processes to ensure greater line efficiency
• To plan and arrange tool changing activities in a better prepared manner to minimize overall downtime.
• Better scheduling, tools management, material flow, execution and shop floor activities.
• Meet production challenges such as to meet very demanding and frequently changing, delivery and product- customization requirement.
• Identify production related technical problems and suggests solution thus ensuring continuous improvement. Suggests any modifications for improvement in productivity and quality.
• Ensure compliance to all management directives, regulations and policies relating to safety, quality, health and environment. Demonstrate good control across the Extrusion to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude
