Job Description

At Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, exceptional service and flavours are the hallmarks of every dining experience. As a Food & Beverage Manager, your leadership and vision will ensure outstanding operating results through exciting menu offerings and promotions, an engaged team and consistent guest satisfaction.

Summary of Responsibilities:

- Assist in the strategic planning and ongoing development of the hotel, including financial forecasting, ensuring the delivery of our environmental commitments, overseeing the health, safety and security of our guests and colleagues.
- Lead and manage the F&B Outlet teams in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed.
- Lead and support all F&B Oulets in the achievement of their financial and operational targets via effective organizational development, policy and procedural development, and appropriate colleague training activities.
- Clearly demonstrate to guests and colleagues a commitment to service excellence through the effective implementation and delivery of Fairmont Hotels & Core Standards at all times.
- Foster a winning, solution-oriented work environment, motivating and engaging colleagues to continuously deliver the best possible service to our guests.
- Develop, implement and monitor initiatives designed to achieve profitable results and superior service in all facets of F&B.
- Drive innovative promotions, menus and concepts; creating a destination of choice for both hotel and external guests.
- Assess guest feedback and celebrate successes while solving challenges.
- Ensure the implementation of standards of guest service and constantly seek out ways to improve product and service as well as increase volumes and profits.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

- Previous Food and Beverage leadership experience required in a five star hotel & resort in UAE.
- Previous Point of Sale System experience required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
