UAE NATIONAL - FACILITIES MANAGER/MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Job Role
- To manage, implement and control activities relating to facilities, procurement and contractor management within assigned area in order to ensure compliance with my clients policies and procedures and minimise reputational and financial risk
Description
Facilities Management
- Manage the assigned area of the overall functions of Facilities Management by adopting good governance and control and manage the property expenses within limits in order to satisfy landlords while delivering good property maintenance service to tenants
Vendor/Contractor Management
- Implement, manage, monitor and control activities relating to the performance of vendors, service providers and maintenance contractors in all matters concerning facilities management of properties managed by ensuring prompt resolution of issues and implementing preventive measures to ensure the properties are managed in line with the contractual obligations
Maintenance Services
- Manage implementation of maintenance services for tenants, identify and address potential problems, risks and gaps and introduce preventive measures in order to meet expected customer satisfaction levels
Health and Safety Environment
- Enforce the integrated HSE programme and regular inspections of premises in line with regulatory / legislative requirements in order to minimise risk to employees, contractors and tenants
People Management
- Manage self and team in line with my clients people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance
- Organise and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems

- Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures, and ensure employee adherence so that work is carried out to the required standard while delivering the required standards of service to customers and stakeholders
Continuous Improvement
- Manage and motivate the team to ensure they contribute to, and participate in, the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programmes and projects in line with the bank’s standards
Customer Service
- Demonstrate their Promise and apply the Service Standards to deliver the bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions
REQUIREMENTS
Experience, Qualifications & Competencies
Minimum Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in carrying out maintenance inspections of commercial / residential properties over a diverse property management business with a minimum of 2 years of coordination the management of an exceptionally large portfolio
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Building Services or equivalent
- Professional Qualifications
- Certification from a Facilities Management Institute or
- Knowledge and Skills
- Risk assessment
- Negotiating skills
- Planning, reporting and presentation skills Written and spoken English and Arabic
