JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• To plan for and supervise maintenance activities of the school and its premises.
• Development of a long-term plan of the facility management (Time line for accomplishing the projects, partnerships involved etc.)
• Management of the premises in regard of cleaning, assets
• Develop and maintain the policies and procedures for the Facility Management
• Plan major fixes and repairs
• Discuss annual maintenance contracts
• Plan annual maintenance budget
• Identify potential suppliers for Facility Management and new related technologies
• Manage custodial providers
• Develop a performance evaluation plan and define KPIs for Facility Management
• Manage the department’s staff
• Approve procurement up to a certain amount for Facility Management
• Authorize minor maintenance
• Perform Facility Management staff evaluation
REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualification
• Good command of the English Language, Arabic and German desirable.
• Bachelor degree from an accredited institution.
• Over 7 years of experience with at least 3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role.

• Job knowledge (Carpentry, plumbing etc.)
• Understand the school’s supply chain system and Software
• Computer skills
• Utilize the school’s budgeting tools
• Understand the school’s performance management system
• Understand the school’s training management system
