Quest Search and Selection is partnering with a renowned fashion retail group in the Gulf region, and they are looking for a talented Fashion Designer to join their team in Dubai!
Responsibilities of this role:
Designing Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the design team to develop new product ideas based on research and trends.
• Stay updated with the latest fashion trends and industry developments.
• Create sketches and CAD designs for upcoming collections.
• Work closely with the team to design seasonal clothing lines.
• Select fabrics, trims, and materials for production.
• Develop detailed tech packs with specifications.
• Oversee the prototype sampling process.
• Assist in creating mood boards for concept development.
• Inspect products throughout the design process to ensure quality.
• Support the team in providing fitting comments for styles.
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of experience in Fashion Design with a strong understanding of collection development.• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field (preferred).
• Proficiency in design software including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, CAD, and Gmail.
• Expertise in fashion collection design with a keen eye for trends, style, and color.
• Experience in the export fashion industry with knowledge of fabrics, prints, colors, and trims.
