JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
• Knowledge of Safety and Emergencies
• Observes safe working practices, rules and regulations, reporting of hazards
• Knowledge of Work Permit Systems
• Basic Knowledge of Crude Distillation Units, Boilers, Demin Plant, Air System, Flare System, Heaters and Effluent Treatment Plant
• Knowledge of Distillation Columns, Pumps, Heat Exchangers, Air Coolers and Valves
• Study of P&ID, PFD, Cause and Effect Diagrams
• Basic understanding of Instruments, Interlocks and Emergency Shutdown System
• Knowledge of sampling
• Knowledge of equipment preparation for maintenance including isolation, draining, steaming and other procedures as required
• Knowledge of Lock-out and Tag-out
• Field operations liaise with Panel Operator instructions
• Knowledge of chemical handling and storage
REQUIREMENTS
• Candidates must be Diploma in Chemical Engineering/ Bachelor of Science
• Candidates must have minimum of 5 Years in Refinery/ Petrochemicals
• Candidates should have communication skills in English language
