Title: Field Specialist ( LWD)
Locations: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Role Summary:
• Provides advice and direction to external customer and wellsite colleagues as appropriate.
• Provides resolution to a diverse scope and range of complex problems at the wellsite where analysis of MWD / LWD data requires having a broad knowledge of the product line's tool(s) and/or service(s).
• Mentors junior LWD field engineers.
• Expected to maintain frequent intra-organizational and external customer contacts with a high degree of professionalism.
• Executes other related duties as assigned.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Develop and demonstrate proficiency in the skill profile required for the delivery of Logging while Drilling services at the well site.
• Expected to work in challenging drilling and logging environments to provide complex solutions to the Customer.
• Successfully complete advanced LWD technical training and assigned well site development Programs.
• Strong communication and inter-personal skills; excellent customer awareness.
• Ability to relate to well site personnel at all levels, be a strong team member, and demonstrate leadership capability.
• This role is a shift based working pattern. 6 weeks on/ 3 weeks off (12 hours shift)

REQUIREMENTS

Ideal candidate will have:
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Directional drilling experience with motor.
• Candidates with Motor+ rotary steerable system(RSS) experience is preferred.
• Technical Degree & Industry experience preferred.
• Product line training required.
• Demonstrate a good mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn and improve knowledge and skills.
• Have the ability to travel at short notice and work away from home for periods of time
• Be able to work in a 24/7 service environment, based on an agreed shift schedule.
